The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business and Noodle Partners To Continue Success With Launch of Executive MBA for Global Supply Chain

June 15, 2020

The program provides immediate ROI to candidates and their organizations as well as corporate sponsors through emphasis on real-time knowledge applications

As part of a ten-program deal with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Noodle Partners is now supporting the Haslam College of Business’ top-ranked and world-renowned Executive MBA for Global Supply Chain. The program’s transition to Noodle Partners follows the team’s success in launching an MS in Supply Chain Management – Online, which saw stellar enrollment in their inaugural Fall 2019 cohort.

Noodle Partners is excited to take on the Executive MBA for Global Supply Chain at Haslam which in 2018 was ranked #1 most relevant EMBA worldwide by The Economist, and #1 globally for supply chain research by Transportation Journal. Haslam is the country’s foremost leader in global supply chain management education and home to the Global Supply Chain Institute (GSCI) which serves as an international hub for research, talent development, and supply chain thought leadership. The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Supply Chain Management professors are industry leaders and have been asked to lend their supply chain expertise, senior experience and independent research to a variety of national publications examining COVID-19 disruptions to the global supply chain, from Bloomberg to IndustryWeek.

Noodle Partners will manage marketing, enrollment, and technology support for the program.

The EMBA-GSC is designed for senior-level business leaders and is highly flexible, allowing busy executives to continue working and immediately apply their knowledge — while only taking 30 days out of the office to complete the degree. The program includes two residence periods at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and two at international supply chain hubs in Europe and Asia.

Companies can sponsor their employees to participate in the program, which includes individualized Organizational Action Projects (OAPs). OAPs are structured to solve a specific business problem, allowing students to immediately apply what they learn, resulting in an exceptional ROI to them and to their employer. The unique asynchronous distance learning (DL) sessions and residency program (RP) structure integrates relevant, applied, high-quality learning that will immediately impact student’s current day to day.

“Our Executive MBA program is one of a kind, offering students the unparalleled opportunity to learn from supply chain experts, while gaining hands-on, feet-on-the-ground experience at real, international supply chain hubs,” said Stephen Mangum, Dean of the Haslam College of Business. “This is knowledge and experience that students can immediately apply in their business environments, delivered in a format designed for busy working professionals.”

The program takes eleven months to complete, and the curriculum is framed by five industry-driven core competencies: global business acumen, transformational capabilities, integrated business planning, integrated value chain, and supply chain’s role in business performance.

“Our work with The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville has thus far been hugely successful, and we are thrilled to continue growing with them,” Noodle Partners CEO, John Katzman, said. “The EMBA-GSC is uniquely valuable because it brings a thriving network of Supply Chain industry professionals together in multiple ways. It’s hard to imagine a more relevant academic experience.”
